We strive to provide high-quality garage doors, aluminium products, and related services. Please read this Refund & Returns Policy carefully before placing an order.


1. General Policy

Due to the nature of many of our products being custom-made, manufactured to specification, or specially ordered, certain items may not qualify for refunds or returns.

By placing an order with JACMO HOLDINGS, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.


2. Custom-Made & Special Orders

Products manufactured, customized, or ordered according to client specifications are generally:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-returnable

  • Non-exchangeable

This includes products customized by:

  • Size

  • Colour

  • Material

  • Design

  • Special finishes

  • Client-requested modifications

Once manufacturing or processing has started, cancellations may not be possible.


3. Deposits & Payments

Deposits paid toward custom or special orders may be non-refundable once production, procurement, or preparation has begun.

Any approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.


4. Damaged or Defective Products

Customers must inspect products upon delivery or installation.

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery or installation.

To report an issue, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the issue

  • A description of the problem

We may assess the issue before approving a replacement, repair, or refund.


5. Returns Eligibility

Returns may only be accepted for standard, non-custom products if:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is in original condition

  • The item is returned in original packaging

  • The return request is approved by JACMO HOLDINGS

Approved returns may be subject to:

  • Inspection fees

  • Collection fees

  • Restocking fees


6. Incorrect Measurements Provided by Customers

JACMO HOLDINGS will not be held responsible for losses, replacement costs, or refunds where incorrect measurements, specifications, or instructions were provided by the customer.

Customers are encouraged to confirm all measurements carefully before production begins.


7. Installation Services

Where installation services are provided:

  • Customers must ensure the site is ready and accessible

  • Delays caused by site conditions may result in additional charges

  • Completed installation work may not qualify for refunds unless defects are directly related to workmanship


8. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds may take between 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider or financial institution.


9. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before manufacturing, procurement, or processing begins.

If work has already commenced, cancellation fees may apply.


10. Warranty Claims

Certain products may include manufacturer or workmanship warranties.

Warranty claims do not automatically qualify for refunds and may instead result in:

  • Repairs

  • Replacements

  • Technical inspections

Warranty coverage excludes:

  • Misuse

  • Negligence

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by external factors


11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights provided under applicable South African consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
